Use Inbecto with Claude

Connect your Inbecto workspace to Claude and ask about your quotations, invoices, leads and projects in plain words, or have it make quotations and invoices and add products, leads, tasks, expenses and payments for you. Claude works as you: it sees and does what your own Inbecto sign-in allows, in your own workspace.

Connect it

You need an Inbecto account and a Claude plan that allows custom connectors. It takes about a minute.

  1. In Claude, open Settings and choose Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector. Name it Inbecto and paste this address: https://mcp.lywin.tech/mcp
  3. Press Connect. Claude opens Inbecto in your browser.
  4. Sign in to Inbecto with your own email and password, or with Google.
  5. Check the account shown and press Allow. You are taken back to Claude, connected.

In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http inbecto https://mcp.lywin.tech/mcp and then sign in when asked.

Things to ask

  • Which invoices are overdue, and how much is outstanding in total?
  • Make a quotation for Ravi Sharma: two sliding windows 5 by 4 feet and one casement window 3 by 4 feet.
  • Raise an invoice for quotation KIW-Q-0041.
  • Add a product: UPVC French Door, priced per square foot at ₹780.
  • Add a lead: Suresh Kumar, 98450 12345, wants UPVC windows for a villa in Coimbatore, budget 4 lakh.
  • Record ₹25,000 received by UPI against invoice KIW-INV-0122.
  • What follow-ups are due today?
  • How is the business doing this month?

Before Claude adds or changes anything it says what it is about to do, so you can check it first.

What Claude can do

  • Look up customers, leads, quotations, estimates, invoices and payments, expenses, projects, tasks, site visits and reports, vendors, purchase orders, products and rates, service tickets, warranties, and staff, attendance and leave.
  • Make quotations and raise invoices, priced from your Price Master with the sizes you give. They are saved for you to check, and can be edited in Inbecto afterwards.
  • Add products to the Product Master and change their rates.
  • Add customers, leads, payments received, expenses, tasks, site visits, site reports and vendors, and change them later.
  • Give a summary of dues, open quotations, follow-ups, this month's spending and jobs in hand.

Disconnecting, and your data

  • To disconnect, open Connect Claude in Inbecto (press Ctrl K and type Claude) and press Disconnect, or remove the connector in Claude's settings. Claude loses access within the hour.
  • If you belong to more than one workspace, tell Claude which one you mean.
  • What Claude reads to answer you is sent to Anthropic, the maker of Claude, and handled under their terms. Nothing is sent unless you ask Claude something that needs it.
